The School Day

8.30am      School supervision in the playground commences.

8.45am     The school day begins when the bell is rung and the children proceed to their cloakrooms, then

                 they proceed to classrooms for registration.

9.00am      School assembly.

9.15am      Maths - Basic Skills

9.35am      Maths

10.30am    Morning playtime.

10.45am    Guided Reading

11.00am    English (Talk for Writing)

12.00pm    Lunchtime. Packed lunches and hot dinners are served in the school canteen.

1.00pm      Afternoon lessons begin.

2.00pm      Afternoon playtime.

2.15pm      Last lesson of the day.

3.15.pm     End of the normal school day.

School Uniform

Ties: Blue and grey stripe available from school for £3.00.

Shirt or Blouse: Plain white.

Sweatshirt/Jumper/Cardigan: Navy blue V-neck jumper / cardigan bearing the school logo in white

Trousers: Grey.

Skirt: Grey.

Summer dress: Blue gingham.

Socks: White or grey.

Shoes: Black. No high heeled shoes or boots. Trainers may only be worn at lunch time and on PE days.

P.E. Kit: Pair of black/navy shorts or gym skirt. Light blue t-shirt, pumps for indoor sports.

 Outdoor PE kits : Navy blue joggers and school hoody with trainers.

Swimming: Trunks and costume and a towel. Beach short or sports shorts are not allowed. A swimming cap can be obtained from the school office.

In the interest of safety and security no jewellery is allowed, with the exception of stud earrings and watches. These may not be worn during P.E.
